Position Summary
The Data Modeler is responsible for designing and implementing robust data models and database
schemas to support organizational data management needs. This role involves defining strategies for data integration and migration while collaborating with stakeholders to translate business data requirements into effective technical solutions. The Data Architect ensures optimal database performance, scalability, and adherence to data governance policies, data quality standards, and security compliance. By staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies, the role drives innovation in data management practices.
Additionally, the Data Modeler provides technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. This position is crucial in enabling efficient, secure, and scalable data solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop data models and database schemas
- Define data integration and data migration strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and ensure scalability
- Implement data governance policies and data quality standards
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in Apache, Cloudera and Data Analysis
- Experience in designing Data banks, building data models (Star schema, dimension modeling, data lakes) and data mapping
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, POSTGRE)
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies is preferred
Education & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor(s) from an accredited university with demonstrated analytical skills that reflect passion for Analytics
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience as Data Modeler or in a similar role
