Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – Business Development will support enterprise sales efforts and pipeline growth for cloud, ERP, data, and AI products and services. The role requires strong communication, pre-sales familiarity, and a passion for technology solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business leads in target segments, including enterprises and SMEs.
  • Support end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, product demos, and proposal submissions.
  • Prepare pitch decks, capability documents, and technical proposals in collaboration with pre-sales and delivery teams.
  • Assist in partner coordination, the development of go-to-market initiatives, and response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Maintain CRM records, updates, and weekly reporting for management visibility.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to support product positioning.
  • Participate in client meetings and technology discussions alongside senior leadership.
  • Build professional relationships and networking channels across the local IT market.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of full-stack development, cloud services, ERP systems, and AI technologies.
  • Strong presentation and proposal writing skills; ability to create and deliver effective PowerPoint decks.
  • Experience or familiarity with software startup environments preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate technology solutions with confidence.
  • Local enterprise market knowledge and professional network will be an advantage.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development or pre-sales within the software, cloud, or IT services industry.
