Position Summary

The Head of Business Development will lead growth strategy, enterprise sales, and partner relationships to drive expansion in the software, Cloud, AI, and Data Services domains. The individual will spearhead business development operations, build a scalable pipeline, and contribute to product and market strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the business development strategy for enterprise SaaS, Cloud, Data, ERP, and AI-based solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new enterprise business opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and technology partners.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, including solution positioning, demos, and proposal defense.
  • Supervise creation of high-quality pitch decks, business cases, RFP responses, and technical proposals.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams to align offerings with market demand.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities to shape go-to-market plans.
  • Represent the company in industry forums, networking events, and partner ecosystem engagements.
  • Mentor and manage business development team members to achieve performance goals.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of full-stack development lifecycle, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), data analytics, ERP (Odoo/SAP/MS Dynamics), and AI/ML use cases.
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales, software startup environments, and partner ecosystem development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technology-savvy with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to business and technical audiences.
  • Strong proposal writing and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Existing local connections/relationships with enterprises and IT decision-makers (preferred).

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Business Development across Software, Cloud, and Technology Services sectors.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
