Independence Day brought the same excitement to us as any other occasion and we just can’t forget the patriotic spirit.
Though we are at a different point in our lives, we can still witness that the 14th of August is celebrated with the same energy and spirit and everyone seems to share a collective pride in our nation’s independence. It brings us all together as a nation and rekindles our connection to our country and each other.
Like every year, Wateen celebrated the spirit of Independence with a week full of events. Employees came together throughout the week to honor the spirit of independence with zeal and zest, embodying the unity and pride that define this special occasion.
Wateen kicked off their celebration with activities and competitions among all of their offices including, Lahore (HO), Quetta, Islamabad, and Karachi.
The celebrations began with a friendly decor competition spreading the hues of green and white transforming workspaces in a festive tribute to Pakistan.
A Week of Creativity, Learning, and National Pride
One of the highlights of the week-long celebration was the artistic talent of the employees’ children. Their colorful drawings and depictions of Pakistan were their way of showing love for their country.
It also served as a reminder of how the next generation is establishing a connection with the nation’s rich history. Incredible, isn’t it?
The celebrations also featured engaging quizzes testing the employees’ knowledge of Pakistan’s history and cultural heritage. The quizzes were a hit, with participants eagerly showcasing their understanding and winning exciting prizes.
Together We Celebrate, Together We Thrive
The week-long celebrations came to an end with a grand cake-cutting ceremony, and the employees were delighted with the traditional cuisines, elevating the overall feeling.
