COVID-19 Vaccination Camps
At Wateen, safety and health are a top priority. We have set up various vaccination camps for our workforce, administering the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines. To support these vaccination drives, our teams have conducted regular COVID awareness campaigns to actively encourage employees to get their vaccine shots.
Tree Plantation Drive
To improve green environment in the country, Wateen Telecom supported the plantation of 1,000 trees at Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Lahore. The plantation drive was organized in collaboration with Govt. of Punjab, Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate, Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC). Zafar Iqbal, VP HR and Admin, Wateen and Major Syed Kamran Hashmi, Secretary, Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate along with senior officials of the organizations were present at the occasion.
Blood Donation Camps for Children Suffering from Thalassemia
Wateen collaborated with different hospitals working towards the treatment of children with the hereditary disease of thalassemia. Our teams set up various blood donation camps in Wateen’s offices around the country. Our employees actively participated in the drive with the noble intention of helping young children in this fight against the disease.
Awareness Sessions for Employees
Wateen aims to create a culture that is socially aware and responsible. To cultivate this, our teams have conducted various awareness sessions for our workforce to help bring about a positive change in society. Subject matter experts from relevant authorities are engaged to educate our employees on critical subjects such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Hazard Management, Traffic Rules Awareness, and Positive Parenting.
