Position Summary
The Design Engineer – Energy Solutions will be responsible for designing and supporting the implementation of solar energy systems. The role includes system sizing, preparing technical designs and BOQs, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver efficient and reliable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complete solar system design activities for projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Perform system sizing, technical calculations, energy yield assessments, and BOQ preparation.
- Review design documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards, client requirements, and best engineering practices.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and project teams for design-related inputs.
- Participate in technical meetings, site surveys, and design validations when required.
- Support proposal development and provide technical clarifications to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of SAP2000, STAAD Pro, SketchUp, and other structural/mechanical design software.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation of detailed fabrication and structural drawings.
- Ability to perform structural and material load calculations for proper costing and estimation.
- Experience in the preparation of BOQs and material estimations for solar structures and related mechanical/civil works.
- Capability to develop optimized structure designs for project execution and accurate estimation.
- Good technical documentation and coordination skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in the solar design industry.
- Experience in utility-scale/mega-scale solar projects is highly preferred.
