Position Summary
As a Performance Monitoring Engineer, position will be responsible for enabling different functions of NOC operations by providing meaningful insights from the network stats / systems. This role focuses on monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing system performance to meet business goals and streamlining NOC workflows / processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain NMS inventory for adding / modifying nodes and topology maps
- Collaboration and coordination for acquiring links technical information from stakeholders and updating in system / portals
- Analyze data, NMS stats for the purpose of assisting teams / stakeholders for identifying root cause analysis
- Monitor, report and fulfill stakeholders’ requirements for sharing required system fetch information to be used by various stakeholders of technical and business teams
- Test and validate system backups to ensure data integrity
- Present ideas, technical and non-technical, in a logical and compelling manner in a written format and verbally in both small and large group settings
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Basic technical knowledge of Network Management Systems
- Understanding of Networking Concepts
- Familiarity with Network Monitoring Systems tools like Solar Winds etc
- Knowledge of SLA, MTTR (Mean Time to Repair), and uptime tracking
- Good understanding of data base and data modeling
- Familiarity with statistical methods, tools, technologies and practices for analyzing data
Required Skills:
- Network Monitoring Proficiency with monitoring tools like OpManager, SolarWinds
- Operating Systems: Basic knowledge of Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server
- WAN/LAN Technologies: Basic knowledge of MPLS, VPNs, and Ethernet technologies
- Automation and Scripting: Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell
Education & Experience
- Engineering or equivalent Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Sciences/Engineering & Soft skills certification would be preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in network operations and relevant field
