Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot LAN / WAN issues effectively
- Understand OSI Layers and their implications
- Manage DNS / DHCP / Proxies for seamless network operation
- Configure Routers & Switches to optimize network performance
- Implement Virtual LANs for efficient network segmentation
- Establish Layer-2 / Layer-3 VPNs for secure connections
- Install and troubleshoot CPEs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Configure fiber over Ethernet Media Converters and troubleshoot related issues
- Set up Wifi Access Points and troubleshoot connectivity problems
- Install and troubleshoot Radio Links to maintain strong connections
- Resolve customer complaints within specified TAT
- Install new routers, switches & CPEs while ensuring timely E2E link handover
- Execute PM & CM activities following established patterns
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Manage access layer devices proficiently and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Possess good English communication skills for both speaking and writing
- Collaborate seamlessly as a valuable team player
- Possess a foundational understanding of Fiber Optic Networks and various topologies
- Handle customer interactions and manage relationships effectively
- Apply sound knowledge of Wireless links (ISM/WiFi) to enhance connectivity
- Navigate various systems with ease
- Exhibit a strong knowledge of Layer 1, 2 & 3 Networking for effective troubleshooting and optimization
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, or EE
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience
