As a key player, you will take charge of the NOC Operations, with a special focus on HFC-GPON Network IP planning and Integration at our cutting-edge DD Data Center in Lahore. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide round-the-clock monitoring and support for the Access network, covering both HFC and GPON technologies
- Expertly troubleshoot access network (HFC & GPON) issues, collaborating closely with relevant teams to ensure prompt resolutions
- Diligently record all incidents and their detailed resolutions, maintaining accurate documentation within the ticketing system
- Actively report incidents to expedite troubleshooting processes and escalate complex issues to the appropriate departments
- Conduct comprehensive testing of new HFC-GPON products and their features in alignment with business requirements
- Extend unwavering support to the respective Access Network Teams, contributing to design optimization and conducting quality audits
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency in IP Protocols, showcasing intermediate expertise in Routing and Switching
- In-depth knowledge and mastery of HFC-GPON, with specialized skills in CMTS & U2000 Operations
- Up-to-date familiarity with cutting-edge technologies and adeptness in advanced network troubleshooting techniques
- Possession of professional certifications, preferably CCNA, to validate expertise
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems, enhancing technical capabilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills, ensuring effective collaboration and comprehensive record-keeping
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering & Computer Engineering
- Hands-on experience, of at least 1 year, on data communication equipment preferably Cisco & Huawei
