Position Summary

The Head of Field Operations will independently lead and execute multi-MW solar and BESS projects nationwide, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance with client and regulatory standards. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and hands-on expertise in utility-scale solar project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-MW-scale projects across all regions of the country.
  • Implement processes for ensuring quality at multiple sites.
  • Customer and Vendor Management (Post Sales) – external stakeholder management.
  • Close all sites with agreed scope and client expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards, client requirements, and best engineering practices.
  • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and project teams for Ops-related inputs – internal stakeholder management.
  • Monitor and report operations matters to complete the projects within defined CPI and SPI limits.
  • Resource planning.
  • Perform site quality audits.

Required Skills

  • Strong command of electrical design tools, and simulation software as PVsyst, HelioScope, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of solar system design, electrical sizing, cable routing, and protection schemes.
  • Certification from OEMs (preferred).
  • Project Management Skills – PMP certification would be preferred. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/BS Electrical).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in the execution of Solar/BESS-based projects.
  • Experience in utility/mega-scale solar projects is highly preferred.
