Position Summary
The Lead Design Engineer is responsible for leading end-to-end solar system design activities for South Region projects, with a strong focus on utility-scale and mega-scale installations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complete solar system design activities for South Region projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Perform system sizing, technical calculations, energy yield assessments, and BOQ preparation.
- Review design documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards, client requirements, and best engineering practices.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and project teams for design-related inputs.
- Participate in technical meetings, site surveys, and design validations when required.
- Support proposal development and provide technical clarifications to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Strong command of electrical design tools, and simulation software as PVsyst, HelioScope, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to prepare and modify engineering drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations.
- Strong understanding of solar system design, electrical sizing, cable routing, and protection schemes.
- Good skills in design calculations, technical documentation, and cost estimation.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E/BS Electrical).
- Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in the solar design industry.
- Experience in utility-scale/mega-scale solar projects is highly preferred.
