Position Summary
The incumbent will support the administration, operations, and managed services of enterprise Red Hat OpenShift (OCP) and OpenShift AI (RHOAI) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform availability, security, performance, and operational excellence while supporting containerized applications, AI workloads, CI/CD pipelines, and MLOps capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and OpenShift AI (RHOAI) environments.
- Manage platform health, upgrades, patching, capacity planning, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
- Configure and support OpenShift resources including projects, namespaces, RBAC, Operators, storage, networking, and security.
- Administer OpenShift AI components including Model Registry, Model Serving (KServe), Data Science Workbenches, and GPU resources.
- Support deployment and operations of containerized applications, AI models, and microservices using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and OpenShift deployment best practices.
- Manage MLOps workflows including model registration, promotion, deployment, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, secrets management, and platform security controls.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with infrastructure, AI, and application development teams while providing technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and operational support.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Kubernetes architecture, Operators, Helm Charts, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Routes, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container image management.
- Experience managing GPU-enabled AI workloads and NVIDIA GPU Operator is preferred.
- Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and EFK/OpenSearch.
- Experience with enterprise storage solutions (S3/MinIO, Persistent Volumes) and networking concepts.
- Knowledge of security best practices including RBAC, certificate management, and secrets management.
- Good scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in Linux, Kubernetes, or OpenShift administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
- Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI), including Model Registry, Model Serving (KServe), and AI Workbenches Experience supporting enterprise production environments.
