Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving regional sales strategy, developing key customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading the end-to-end sales cycle across the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) sector. The role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a proven track record in Solar EPC sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve annual revenue & collection, gross margin, and order intake targets.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure Solar PV and BESS opportunities within industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
  • Build a strong pipeline of prospects through direct engagement, referrals, networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, business owners, plant heads, engineering teams, procurement departments, and financial decision-makers.
  • Promote standalone and hybrid Solar + BESS solutions for peak shaving, backup power, demand management, and energy optimization applications.
  • Monitor project risks and ensure proper risk mitigation during the sales process.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills

  • Strong commercial acumen, customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets, develop key accounts, and drive regional growth.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or relevant discipline preferred).
  • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience, with a strong track record in B2B sales and business development.
  • Prior managerial-level experience within a Solar EPC organization, specifically serving the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) segment.
  • Sound knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with hands-on sales, business development, or project exposure being highly desirable.
