Position Summary

Location
Faisalabad- (Faisalabad Resident is Compulsory)
Key Responsibilities
- 24x7x365 Operations and Maintenance of Transmission (OTN, SDH, BWS, OSN 1800) Networks
- Coordination with Optical Fiber teams in case of optical fiber cuts & expansion
- NMS (Huawei-NCE) Operations for ASON, SNCP, and WSON, DPLCs Configurations
- To plan and carry out cutover activities in the network as per the requirement
- Coordination with NOC and Fiber teams for smooth projects delivery & operations
- Field visits for Operations and Maintenance of Transmission Equipment (OTN, SDH, BWS, OSN 1800)
- Sites visits in region for Audit & Connectivities
- Customer connectivity through Wateen Transmission Equipment
- Supervision of Regional Sites for (AC/DC) Power & Civil Work
- Weekly & Monthly reporting
Required Skills
- Understanding Technologies (Fiber, DWDM, SDH, OTN, GSM, ISP, IP)
- Basic AC/DC Power Operations
- MS Office
- Huawei NMS
- Team Management (Transmission & Power Technicians)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical/Telecom Engineering
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Technical Trainings & Certifications in relevant area will be preferred
