Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can effortlessly engage with customers, unleashing their creative genius to develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and ground-breaking concepts that align perfectly with our vision.

As the mastermind behind our proposals, you will craft RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs that will captivate clients and win us new business opportunities. But that’s not all! We want you to go beyond conventional limits and expand our services to new horizons.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customer to work on POCs and concept development as in the line of Wateen Business
  • Developing RFP/RFQ/RFI responses for potential clients to win new business or expanding services footprint with existing clients
  • Developing a strategic relationship with key business and IT stakeholders within the client’s organization, such as Directors, Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, and Business Analysts, to create technical road maps that help reduce OPEX/CAPEX and maximize ROI for the entire enterprise
  • Architect custom solutions of project and program or operational scope
  • Develop technically feasible long-term IT strategies and plans to close complex deals for client
  • Assess the business impact of specific technologies/strategies
  • Identify and address technical or operational risks
  • Provide review/input on project activities for medium to large business unit-level projects
  • Collaborate with the project managers, post-sales, and operation teams for successful project delivery and operations of closed projects
  • Ability to engage with customers at C-Level, develop and deliver sales and presales presentations, where required
  • Build and analyze BOM’s, costing, SOW’s and overall solutions based upon Cisco, Huawei, DELLEMC, and other global technology providers

Skills Required:

Design:

  • In-depth technology understanding of large and complex enterprise networks comprises of Telecom, Financial Sector, or large enterprises
  • Lead a cross-functional team for the project’s design, delivery, and operations
  • Understand and apply information system or operational solution-related modeling methods and tools
  • Validate/evaluate whether information systems or operational architecture meet technical requirements and specifications of a customer
  • Apply appropriate methodologies and expert knowledge to resolve complex business issues

Technical:

  • In depth technology understanding of large and complex enterprise networks, comprises of Telecom, Financial Sector or large enterprises
  • Understanding of future technology or operational trends as they relate to and support customer business requirements (“trusted advisor” role)
  • Carrying a deep knowledge of IT and business standards and best practices in specific areas and how to apply them appropriately in solutions
  • Expert or Master level knowledge of specific technologies, IT operations, or IT disciplines
  • Able to design planning for accessibility, scalability, and availability

Communication:

  • Able to design and present high-impact messages to customer’s senior level management
  • Able to use a wide variety of presentation tools to persuasively communicate complex messages to multiple audience levels, including senior level management
  • Ability to use already prepared and create complete original materials to communicate with the customer with sound expertise in communicating a mix of strategic and tactical information
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Self-motivated with solid leadership and collaboration skills to promote a positive workplace environment

Minimum Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom/Electronics/Computer Sciences. MBA will be a plus for this position
  • CCIE/HCIE/relevant Expert Level Certifications in Network/Security/Service Provider/Data Center
  • Experience with architecting cloud solutions including migration from on-prem to cloud infrastructure
  • 12 years+ overall experience in the field of solution design, delivery, and operations in Pakistan
  • Relationship with customers at every level, especially at C-Level
