Position Summary
The Senior Network Engineer for the IP Core Network is responsible for managing and improving the company’s main network. This involves ensuring that the network runs smoothly, making updates and improvements as needed, and fixing any problems that come up. The engineer also works with other teams to test and implement new services for customers based on their requirements, making sure everything works well together. Essentially, this role is about keeping the network reliable, efficient, and tailored to meet customer needs, which is crucial for the company’s operations

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 & 2 support to customers and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with vendors and stake holders to resolve operational issues
- Maintain 24×7 availability to handle network outages and planned activities
- Collaborate with Strategy and Planning teams for product and service integration and testing
- Provide details of equipment used in Activities to Concern Member for management of Inventory
- Testing New and Used Equipment
- Manage NMS like Cacti, What’s UP Gold, Manage Engine App Manager, Huawei NCE
Required Skills
- Effective communication skills for interacting with various levels within customer organizations
- Proficient understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, MPLS (L2/L3 VPN), BGP, and OSPF related roles
- Network certification (CCNA/HCNA or CCNP/HCNP) is a strong advantage
- Stakeholder Collaboration
Self-motivated with leadership and collaboration abilities
Education & Experience
- 2 – 5 years of experience in deploying, configuring, and supporting large, complex TCP/IP/MPLS-based networks
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Huawei routers and switches
- Experience in an ISP or telecom environment is highly preferred
