Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled O&M System Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of enterprise backup, storage, and compute infrastructure. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and supporting critical infrastructure based on Dell Technologies and Cisco UCS platforms, including Dell EMC Networker, Data Domain, PowerStore, PowerScale, Cisco UCS Blade Servers with Fabric Interconnects, and Dell PowerEdge servers (R750/R760). Experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) operations is essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations and health checks of backup solutions (Dell EMC Networker & Data Domain).
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Dell EMC storage platforms including PowerStore and PowerScale.
- Ensure successful execution of backup jobs; investigate failures and conduct data restores as needed.
- Conduct and support regular Disaster Recovery drills and maintain a state of readiness.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including patching and troubleshooting.
- Administer Cisco UCS Blade Servers (B-Series/C-Series) and manage configurations via UCS Manager.
- Configure and monitor Cisco Fabric Interconnects for LAN/SAN integration and service profile deployment.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Dell PowerEdge R750 and R760 servers, including BIOS/iDRAC settings and RAID configurations.
- Support VMware ESXi / Windows Hyper-V environments hosted on UCS / Dell platforms.
- Maintain operational documentation: runbooks, backup logs, DR procedures, and system topology diagrams.
- Provide L2/L3 support, perform incident and problem management for compute, backup, and storage layers.
- Engage vendors (Dell/EMC/Cisco) for escalations, firmware upgrades, and bug resolutions.
- Respond to internal service requests and backup/restore requirements per defined SLAs.
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and proactively implement optimizations to ensure service availability.
Required Proficiency In
- Dell EMC Networker and Data Domain.
- Dell EMC PowerStore and PowerScale.
- Cisco UCS Blade Servers (B-Series/C-Series).
- Cisco Fabric Interconnect (UCS Manager, LAN/SAN connectivity, Service Profiles).
- Dell PowerEdge Servers (R750/R760), BIOS, iDRAC, RAID.
- Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration.
- VMware ESXi host operations and VM lifecycle management.
- Disaster Recovery procedures, retention policies, and compliance best practices.
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in O&M roles involving enterprise backup, storage, and compute infrastructure.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across multiple infrastructure domains.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based support and ticketing systems.
- Willingness to work in 24×7 environments or take part in on-call support rotations.
- Preferred certifications include: Dell EMC Proven Professional (e.g., DECS-O&M or equivalent), Cisco Certified Specialist – Data Center (UCS-related), Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV) – Optional but valuable.
